There was a distinct sense of superior professionalism and compassion in her classroom. She always had smiles, hugs, or words of wisdom for those lucky enough to have her as a teacher. Her natural infectious, encouraging nature ensured all students thrived. She recognized the importance to getting young learners off to a strong start with school skills and life skills.

She exemplified impeccable virtue and total dedication to her profession. She delighted in the uniqueness of each student and established a learning environment full of challenges and fun. Her natural warmth and intelligence inspired not only students, but those around her. Very simply, Lynn Johnson represents not only the best in teaching, but the best we all can be.
